Kayaking and Snorkeling Kealakeka Bay

Kealakekua Bay Is a gorgeous ocean sanctuary that we will explore by kayaking and snorkeling. This magical bay is also referred to as "Sacred Sacred" by Kahunas. We will kayak over to the famous Captain Cook Monument where plenty of colorful fish await. K-Bay as it is called by some of the locals is where the spinner dolphins come in everyday to feed and rest. Often we are able to see or swim with the dolphins if we catch them there at the right time.

Manini'owali Beach (Kua Bay)

ManiniÊ»owali Beach is a secluded and small white sand beach at Kua Bay, just north of Kona. The water in the bay is crystal clear and the beach is more difficult to reach than other nearby white sand beaches. This makes Kua Bay a strong competitor for the title of “best white sand beach” on the Big Island!

Light Up Paddle Boarding
or Swimming with the Manta Rays

You get to choose to go out o a boat to swim with the manta rays or use a light up paddle board in hopes to see them.

Right in Kona you will have the chance to do a light up paddle board tour with the hopes of having manta rays come right up to your board. Each board has a clear panel that you can see right into the ocean. The sunset tours are 90 minute long.

Or choose to go by boat and swim with a group in the water by holding onto a big ring that helps keep you in place. The rig has lights on it that attract the manta rays, but don't worry they don't have teeth to bite; they feed on the planctain that is attracted by the lights

This is an add on to your retreat at $150 per person.

Mauna Kea
Resort Beach

Weather permitting, we will go to the most beautiful white sand beach on the island, the Mauna Kea Resort Beach. This beautiful beach is 45 minutes away, but well worth the drive.
